Maple story.

Hi guys. I died while killing some bloody monsters in maple story, so i decided to update my blog while waiting for my health to replenish. Do u guys think that maple story is lame? If your answer is yes, let me prove to you that it is not! Let me start by asking you whether have you seen a pig hopping around cheerfully when they know that they are going to be part of the dishes on your dinning table? What about a monkey jumping around, smiling at you and throwing banana skins all over the place after finishing their banana? You wont be able to see all these things happening in the zoo. Pigs in the zoo will most probably be sleeping, and the monkeys there will be hanging upside down on a tree branch, stoning. (These poor monkeys are not even fed with bananas, so you will never get to see them throw the skins around or simile at you.) However, in maple story, you will get a chance to see how these animals act in the wild, and how cheerful they are, just like the animals in animal farm. Maple story allows you to observe how animals act in the wild and you to have a feel of shooting arrows at them without endangering these creatures. There are also some special animals which are genetically modified in maple story, which you wont be able to see in real life.

Maple story also educates the younger generation of singaporeans, teaching them how to count and do business. Maple story is a game that requires a person to gain experience points for his character, and in the game, they would calculate the number of monsters to kill to level up, the amount of magic points required to kill the monsters and the money required to buy potions, in order to level up efficiently. In another way, it allows teenagers to practice mathematics they learn in school, so playing maple is not a bad thing after all. Economics is also taught in maple story. I, unlike business students in my school, do not have to pay $5000 just to learn economics. Instead, i can learn it in maple story by buying and selling weapons. When the demand for an item increases and the supply is limited, a price increase will result. However, when the demand decreases, the price of an item will drop. Haha. Proper trading techniques between people is also being taught in maple story, in a more interactive and fun way.

Since there are so many advantages to gain by playing maple, how can it be considered lame? If you say that the graphics is so catoonish, think about the consequences if real pigs and animals are used. There would be alot of bloodshed, and the game would me rated as Nc16, or worse, M18. In this case, how are children going to learn their mathematics and business techniques? This is very important, as they will be the ones who are going to take over our country in the future. If they are not allowed to play maple, what are they going to do? Learn the chicken little song and dance in order to promote singapore as a city of arts?
