Examinations.
Who was the one who came out with this damn idea? Why do we need to sit for exams at the end of every year? Do you hate examinations? Since it's the examination period now, lets talk about exams. I think that exams should be abolished, because I find it unnecessary.
Every year, students like me take exams about twice a year, and the purpose of having exams is to test one's knowledge about a particular subject. However, I do not agree. I feel that exams is to test one's memory instead. Lets take the o levels as an example. For those who had sat for their o levels, let me ask you a question. Do you still remember any Additional mathematics formula? What about the chemical properties of acids and bases? Back in secondary school, we only had to memorize and apply the formulas, and not required to understand it. Without understanding, how can we say that we know the subject well?
I am starting to get sick of exams. Exams = stress.
The stress is still manageable. What made me really sick is the two girls sat beside me during the exam yesterday. They were doing funny stuffs during the exam, causing me to get distracted. One was punching the calculator as if it had offended her, and the other was drinking water all the time, as if Malaysia will stop selling water to Singapore today. Lol.
I hope that on Monday, I will not be sitting in between those two girls again. Girls are so irritating.
